To translate the mission efficiently into action, and to ensure that Unilever complies with its own high standards as well as with the technical aspects of legislation. The RA team supports the whole Unilever portfolio, deals with a high variety in compliance and innovation activities and interacts with many functions in Unilever.
The Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist will perform the following accountabilities:
· Manage cosmetics notification and registration, including network management of innovation projects.
· Define regulatory requirement for relevant brands.
· Lead the risk assessment according to relevant regulatory for product and communications.
· Act as FPOC for Post-launch compliance challenges by authorities in China
· Regulation quick interpretation and education.
Requirements:
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related disciplines
· Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
· Minimum 3 years cosmetics regulatory affair experience, proven record for cosmetics notification and registration.
· Good capability of regulation interpretation
· Capable to proactively engage with and manage stakeholders.
· Ability to liaise with other functions, ensuring their timely input to meet notification and registration requirements.
· Ability to observe, analyze, solve the issues, and always look for opportunities.
· Organized but agile, strong project management skills
· Attention to details, and logical/systematic thinking
· Self-directed and action oriented
Key Relationships/interfaces:
Internally: MCOs, Cluster R&D Division Directors/Managers, GPC division teams, GPC capability teams, Local RA Managers/members, Legal, C&CA, Cluster Supply Chain Manager, Quality
Externally: Professional Service Outsourcing partners, Business Process Outsourcing partners, Regulatory Data Providers, Third Party Manufacturers, Authorities, industry associations
