Salary: up to £36,000

ABOUT THE ROLE
Enterprise & Technology Solutions (ETS) is a global business unit that manages Unilever's shared business services. To meet the needs of the business, Unilever has selected a single physical security solution to be implemented across the global portfolio. Workplace are responsible for the governance and implementation of the Global Physical Access Security (GPAS) system ensuring that it and the security operations are compliant with Unilever's security policies.

Workplace are looking for a GPAS (AEOS) System Engineer to establish, audit and manage the global technical implementation, standards and compliance of the GPAS system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role shall be responsible for the technical governance and implementation of the GPAS system in Unilever facilities globally to ensure efficient workplace operations.

This role will collaborate with the global GPAS team to provide the following objectives:
• Research and recommend solutions for implementation/maintenance for the systems architecture to maintain Enterprise security system status.
• Evaluate and recommend future systems, hardware or features that may be implemented into GPAS.
• Support the GPAS project manager for CAPEX and small works to ensure compliance with the technical framework and systems design for tendering. Ensuring all technical dependencies such as IT, badging, HR are aligned.
• Audits of system (hardware and software), suppliers works and operations to ensure GPAS integrity to the technical framework
• Provide necessary training to GPAS users
• Support Unilever's Services Operation Centre for technical troubleshooting, whom monitor GPAS sites and dispatch security response teams.
• Responsible for ensuring technical compliance of all projects/works to the global framework in accordance with the necessary compliance and commissioning documentation
• Establishing tools and systems to quickly and efficiently manage project deliveries, implementations and audits. Such as scripts, rule engines or queries.
• Support Business As Usual (BaU) group periodically where required to provide technical support for operational enquiries.
• Provide system status reports in order to prioritise future technical investments
• Back-up support to third party systems and business units which connect to the GPAS system

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum a Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Science)
• A strong level of global security systems design, implementation and administration preferably in AEOS
• Preferred experience working in enterprise environments implementing Access Control, Video Surveillance & Intrusion Detection etc.
• Good working knowledge and practice of IT bases systems and architecture
• Excellent system analytics and resolution competencies
• Good networking skills and collaboration across international environments
• Strong prioritization skills
• Strong communication, presentation and reporting ability (oral and written)
• Good Project Management skill
• ITIL Foundation
