ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting an Finance Business Partner within our Chief Marketing & Communications Office finance team.

The purpose of the Finance Business Partner role combines aspects of both controlling & business partnering and will report directly to the CMCO Finance Manager and in addition will support the CMCO Finance Director. This position focuses on business partnering the function of Global Sustainability and Communications in achieving their aim of driving revolutionary changes through inspiration and provocation of the business There will be opportunity to work on their high-profile projects.

The CMCO (Chief Marketing & Communications Office) Finance Team sits at the heart of the engine driving Unilever's ambition to become the Best Marketing Company in the World. The CMCO Finance Team drives the ROMI and Digital agenda for Unilever, pioneers excellence in global business partnering and acts as a powerhouse for creative agency relations. We contribute to shaping Unilever's future capabilities in Global Marketing, Media, CMI, Communication and Sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key accountabilities of the Finance Business Partner are as follows:

• Business partnering; providing value adding insight to the Sustainable Business and Communications leadership team and the Chief Sustainability Officer on financial performance. Partner budget owners across the 8 Clusters managing their spend by ensuring tight financial control, achievement of efficiencies and dynamic reallocation of resources.
• Projects; co-lead with CMCO Finance Manager business cases for projects relating to significant levels of IT investments.
• Reporting; timely and accurate monthly reporting is delivered to the functional leaders, with insightful commentary.
• Ensure accurate CMCO budget and forecasts are submitted to the controllers highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Working with cluster finance teams across geographies to gain insight into their data and ensure it is accurate.
• Maintenance of cost centres and International Cost Code (ICC)
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports for CMCO team.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Part Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ ACA or equivalent)
- Previous business partnering experience
- Strong analytical & numerical skills, excellent excel skills are essential.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Experience of working in a flexible environment to meet different time zone and strict deadlines.
