Real Estate Strategist – NAMET & RUB
Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job
· Support the Real Estate lead (NAMET, RUB) with the following
· Help drive WPS as an effective business partner
· Deliver the necessary information for the business to make informed decisions
Minimum Criteria
B.Com or BSC. degree (Preferably real estate)
Minimum 1 year exposure to Real Estate and business strategy
· Financial modelling in Excel
· Fully competent in Power point and developing presentations
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Understanding of function real estate plays within a business
· Travel
10% travel
Main Accountabilities
· Work with local teams to gather business requirements
· Understand macro and micro economic conditions and impact on real estate
· Develop and review financial business cases for real estate transactions (Excel)
· Analyse data and prepare real estate business case based on business requirements and strategy and financial model
· Communicate with and advise local teams about the real estate market and best strategy
· Drive real estate transactions from inception to conclusion
· Document and understand business strategy
· Collect market information
· Identify key partners
· Build business case and circulate for approval
· Build project program
· Set up project team (3 rd parties)
· Manage 3 rd parties
· Manage project administration (PO creation, payments etc)
· Manage online real estate database (Planon)
