MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

We have an exciting opportunity within Unilever's Workplace and Travel Service (WTS) organization for someone from a Commercial Property background and with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) experience.

As the Real Estate Analyst you will play a key role in the WTS team reporting into the Head of RE Strategy & Transactions for Europe. Your responsibilities will include advising the Unilever business lines on all property related matters with a focus on strategy and transactions, supported by our global suppliers. Your remit will be across the Europe region which incorporates some 300 properties and approximately 650k sqm (7m sq ft). There are opportunities to travel and gain experience across all areas of CRE.

Ideally, you will be a qualified Surveyor, however, we will consider applications from high calibre Graduates. Please note there is potential to complete the APC with the support of our supplier partners.

JOB SUMMARY

Your role will be responsible for supporting the Head of RE Strategy & Transactions, Europe in managing our regional real estate portfolio, enabling us to respond to changing business needs, reducing costs and taking opportunities to monetise assets.

· Act as point of contact for Unilever business stakeholders with RE related queries and provide required advice.
· Oversee and instruct our preferred global suppliers to assist in transactions
· Ensure correct set up and close out of transactions/projects with our preferred global suppliers
· Help pull together business cases for transaction approvals
· Coordinate internal reporting and ensure completed within deadlines
· Review property leases and summarise key clauses
· Support with scope and instruction of 3 rd party consultants re various non-transactional projects (e.g dilaps reports, etc)
· Follow up with local business entities to support critical dates management and to understand their current occupational requirements
· Review of 3 rd party advice received on rating, dilaps, etc.
· Support keeping property database up to date and accurate
· Support pulling together portfolio analysis and presentations
· Fact finding from within the Unilever business (headcounts, ownership queries, building running costs, NBVs, etc)

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Preferably qualified surveyor
· RE knowledge/experience (including UK specific)
· Proactive problem solver
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Good Powerpoint/Excel
· Can work independently with minimal oversight
