Job description

Job Description (no less than 5 items):

Leading clinical studies from communication, study design, documentation preparation to implementation /execution of the study. Responsible for full delivery of the studies supporting hair care category global projects. Ensure the studies are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets. Be key member of project team, work effectively with teams across the R&D functions, ensuring that the most effective clinical plans are developed and implemented for assigned projects. Coordinate with Contract Research Organisations (CROs), and other internal and external interfaces within the conduct of the clinical studies, manage and monitor clinical studies performed at external CROs complied with clinical procedures and guidelines. Provide expertise of hair care science and clinical insights (through fast learning from senior clinical members and researching on internal and external materials) into the design of clinical studies to support claims/challenges or to assess novel hair care technologies, contribute to the development of novel protocols and techniques that deliver new value and insights by engaging the relevant external world.

Assure the handling and reporting of safety information in clinical studies according to regulatory requirements; have statistics knowledge to make judgement and quality control of data analysis provided by the third party.

Professional Skills:

Basic requirement for both clinical specialist and expert: Master degree in biological sciences, dermatology, epidemiology or relevant specialities in basic medicines, biostatistics with a preference for clinical research experience in industry. Basic statistics knowledge, able to use related statistics software to analyse: e.g. SPSS, JMP, SAS. Good English (written, listening, speaking); Strong sense of responsibility, dedication, agility. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, team player. Clear career goal for next 3 years.

Special requirement for clinical expert: Fresh PhD in relevant domains (above) or Master with at least 2 years working experience in FMCG company or medical industry.

Education/Major: 

MD/PhD degree or Master degree, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in dermatology, biological science, epidemiology or relevant specialities in basic medicine.

Working experience:

Necessary for Master degree holder
