JOB PURPOSE

The Project Engineer is responsible for the Concept Design, Front-End Engineering Design, Detailed Engineering Design, Implementation and Post Assessment of specifically assigned projects under:

· 
New Product Launches

· 
Capability & Capacity Programs

· 
New Technology Deployments

· 
Equipment & Facility Upgrades required for SHE, Quality, Efficiency and Cost Savings

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· 
Establish detailed project plans defining milestones, timelines and resource requirements for successfully execution of a project.

· 
On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery of assigned projects.

· 
Ensure compliance to all relevant Core Design and UE Standards including Safety Health and Environment and Quality.

· 
Lead the execution stage of assigned projects.

· 
Implement UMS Steps in the Early Equipment Management (EEM) and Early Product Management (EPM) Pillars related to the assigned projects.

· 
Ensure full compliance to all corporate policies and procedures on procurement, capex and payments.

· 
Reporting of capital expenditures and tracking of budget consumption.

· 
Coordinate with Project Assistant the requirements for PR and PO relating to the assigned projects.

· 
Represent Engineering to the Technical Risk Assessment (TRA) discussions with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality Teams relating to New Product and Process Deployments.

· 
Coordinate project activities assigned to relevant 3rd Party Contractors and Service Providers.

· 
Conduct and lead the training for New Equipment Operation and Maintenance.

· 
Conduct Post Implementation Assessment to check and validate delivery of Project KPIs and Business Case Results. 

· 
Prepare the Project to Asset capitalization. 

· 
Responsible for the creation, approval, and management of the following, but not limited to, key documentations and transactions: 

o All Technical Documents under Concept Design, FEED, DED. 
o Capex Document required to propose capex-related projects. 
o User Requirement Specification (URS) to be used for Proposals and Bidding. 
o Request for Proposal (RFP), Technical Recommendation Letter (TRL), Notice to Proceed (NTP) for procurement transactions. 
o Project Network to design planned activities and tracking of progress. 
o Project Procurement Plan (PPP) to coordinate procurement and tracking of spends. 
o Management of Change (MOC) as necessary and secure approval to all stakeholders. 
o Project Update Reports to be presented to all relevant stakeholders during Monthly Engineering Review, Capex Board, Monthly Capex & Asset Review. 
o Initial MP Information database to be used as basis for AM/PM Plans 
o Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) or Site Acceptance Test (SAT) documents to qualify output versus design of equipment/machine. 
o Training Module for New Equipment Operations

QUALIFICATIONS

· 
Professional Engineering Skills (relevant Engineering Graduate)

· 
Engineering Design & Process Management (Fully Operational)

· 
Project Management & Delivery (and all sub skills - Fully Operational)

· 
Maintenance Principles and Best practice (Working Knowledge)

· 
UMS EEM & EPM Pillars (Fully Operational)

· 
Budget Management (Fully Operational).

· 
Fluent in spoken and written English and local language

· 
Minimum 3years Project Engineering experience in FMCG / related Industry

· 
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant Engineering Software e.g. AutoCAD
