MAIN JOB PURPOSE

Are you passionate about human rights, gender equality and driving the Unilever Integrated Social Sustainability team forward?

If so, we are currently recruiting a Programme Coordinator for the Integrated Social Sustainability team in the Supply Chain function of Unilever. In this role, you will provide programme, project and administrative support to the Global VP for Integrated Social Sustainability and the Integrated Social Sustainability team based in London.

JOB SUMMARY

· Providing operational and administrative support to the Global Vice President for Integrated Social Sustainability and the integrated social sustainability team ensuring that time is spent most effectively on content and influencing both within and outside the business.
· Compilation and preparation of high level briefing and presentation materials, speeches, background information for external meetings, conferences and events on topics related to Enhancing Livelihoods.
· Management of the team KPI / Project planner: ensuring the team remains on track with their goals
· Conducting research, drafting presentations and managing projects assigned by the Global VP
· Undertaking the role of a metric preparer for various metrics under the Fairness in the Workplace pillar: reviewing material to ensure that all the evidence is correct, and working on the narrative for the submission that will go into the ARA.
· Managing the team's budget, including monitoring and reporting; analysis of financial expenditure.
· Amplifying social impact presence and message both internally and externally through relevant channels e.g. internal team webpages, articles for NewsCentre, articles for Unilever.com
· Ability to manage and organise high level events: managing multiple stakeholders
· Support delivery of workshops and campaigns for relevant work streams e.g. Human Rights Day.
· Updating all of the content under the Enhancing Livelihoods ambition of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) on Unilever.com on an annual basis
· Supporting relevant business teams in order to develop understanding, KPIs and relevant definitions for Inclusive Business
· Responding to various external reporting requirements e.g. Know the Chain, Corporate Human Rights Benchmark
· Organising and coordinating complex travel arrangements for the Global VP

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
· Excellent English communication skills – both written and oral, with the ability to develop communication pieces
· Project management
· Presentation compilation skills
· Ability to influence
· A passion for social issues and sustainability, especially human rights and combatting modern slavery
· Strong organisational, analytical and communication (written) capabilities
· Ability to develop new approaches to meet changing needs
· An overall proficient and high comfort level with technology & working in a digital environment
· Previous administrative knowledge
· Research project experience
· Resource investigator skills
· Insight into the social sustainability network
