Salary: £24,076 to £26,751

Description
The Homecare Europe Specification Management team at Unilever Research and Development Port Sunlight is organizationally part of the Home Care Europe Deploy group. The team is responsible for the overall management of the specification process including the development and maintenance of all specifications (ingredients, formulation and packaging) of products deployed in Europe from the Home Care categories.
Within this team there is a permanent position open for the specification management of formulation specifications within the Home Care category.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
· Create and maintain specifications in SAP-PLM according to agreed quality standards
· Create and maintain product and process specifications in SAP-PLM for each Sourcing Unit according to agreed quality standards.
· Transfer of information between Development, Supply Chain (sourcing units, category logistics and procurement)
· Specification first point of contact for particular portfolio of products
· Part of cross functional (innovation) project teams, actively participating in team meetings, agreeing planning and ways of working
· Working seamlessly together with fellow specification developers to ensure OTIF delivery of specifications.

Skills & Experience
· MSc in Chemistry or other science area
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Knowledge and experience in setting up and maintaining Quality and document management systems or an affinity for working with databases
· Knowledge of Home Care products or product development experience in HPC and/or Foods categories is an advantage
· Excellent PC/IT skills
· Being able to work independently as well as in teams
· Positive and pro-active attitude, with an “eye for detail”
