Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The Panel Data Analyst is responsible for the discovery and delivery of insights through the analysis of Unilever's paid panel data sets – and crucially, how to supplement, integrate or replace the use of this data with social & search data. As a key part for Unilever's PDC vision, this role exists to make sense of Unilever's vast amounts of data – panel or other- in a way that enable Unilever's marketers to act and improve the way they engage with our consumers. The ideal candidate will have a range of experience with using or/and collecting consumer panel data and thus have a deep understand of how to analyse this data. They will always be on the lookout for new ways to generate business insights from panel data. They will interested in integrating panel data with other sources to gain deeper understanding of our customer. They will be analytical. They will have the ability to explain the opportunities of paid data to people unfamiliar with these datasets- such as social or advanced analysts.
JOB SUMMARY
· Champions the creative & impactful use of paid panel data in PDC delivery
· Data extraction and manipulation – panel data sources & MI (Kantar / Nielsen, etc.)
· Determine ways to combine panel data with social & search data to provide higher quality insights
· Identify opportunities to use social & search data to either supplement or replace components of research previously completed exclusively using paid panel ,dataAdvise on industrialisation of Advanced and Custom services and assist Innovation Lead with industrialisation as appropriate
· Guides and upskills other PDC analysts, including occasional review of their outputs, particularly in spreading their specialist knowledge
· Identify candidates for new services or ways-of-working improvements and feed this into global capability centre to drive service improvement
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Experience using panel data & MI (i.e. Kantar, Nielsen, etc.)
· Numerical or critical thinking background (degree or equivalent)
· Experience with consumer goods data sets (other than panel)
· Some ability to use SQL
· Experience driving business value from consumer insight
· Passion for the social & digital world and its implications for business
