Who You Are & What You’ll Do:

The individual will be responsible for the design and delivery of primary and secondary packaging for innovation, renovation, sustainability, and cost savings initiatives. You will manage multiple development projects and prioritize tasks based on timelines. You will deliver effectively in a cross-functional team environment by working with Brand, Planning, Formulation, Procurement, Quality, and many external suppliers.  The position will also interface with Supply Chain for manufacturing scale-up including line trials, production start-ups, cost savings, and improving line efficiency. The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams is essential.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

· 
B.S. Degree (Packaging Science, or engineering equivalent) and 2-4 years’ experience in the packaging field, preferably in the Home or personal care products industry.

· 
Broad packaging component knowledge and experience in rigid packaging such as injection molded assemblies, bottles, closures, and paper packaging. 

· 
Must demonstrate understanding of package development process and engineering principles and the ability to design and develop primary and secondary packaging components that meet consumer, brand, customer, and manufacturing objectives.

· 
Must be able to demonstrate a general understanding of project management to realize the order, importance, and impact of appropriate project activities and maintain packaging commitments to project scheduling.

· 
Must understand consumer, business, and category needs and the relationship to packaging decisions & execution. An entrepreneurial mindset is beneficial.

Pay : The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus : This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI) : This position is LTI eligible.
