WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

The role aims to drive the adoption and continued excellence of data driven marketing practices, digital strategy and channel mix management, retail media investment and execution following-up besides conventional (offline) media solutions within Unilever and our partner agencies. Being a strong bridge between global media team, local marketing team, external media partners and agencies, ensuring that all expectations are communicated to all stakeholders accurately and in a timely manner and assisting in the creation of solution proposals that will serve the annual and campaign-based strategies of brands in the related Business Unit, are going to be the main drivers for the aims above.  

This role involves close work with the marketing teams plus media agency teams. There is extensive cross-functional working with an extensive range of stakeholders.  

Responsibilities  

·  Campaign Planning
·  Responsible for leading the full funnel (awareness, engagement and conversion) 360 degree (online & offline) media agenda – developing campaign journey across key channels per audience sub-segment, leveraging past learnings 
·  Responsible for turning audience segments into actionable media plans and ensuring integration into holistic channel plans feeding into the Media blueprint 
·  Responsible for finding the most cost efficient way to do this in order to utilize the marketing media budget 
·  Identify opportunities for media first and innovative media solutions to have as many as possible local and global marketing awards 
·  Responsible for fostering partnerships with local and global media JBP players to drive efficient relationship in terms of media plans 
·  Act as a brand guardian and make sure all communication tasks are implemented against the agreed timelines in line with the campaign/project brief.  
·  Checking the compliance of the campaign with its objectives, guiding the team at necessary points.  
·  Actively participate in brainstorming to be a part innovative and media 1st ideas by considering business needs.  
·  Understand and adopt business KPIs to DMC OKRs to measure the success. 

·  Campaign deployment and Optimization:  
·  Optimize media plan in flight and drive campaign performance based on agreed KPIs; 
·  Pinpoint trends in the sector and analytics suites/dashboards and turn them into optimizations and/or actionable items 
·  Ensure delivering the pre – post reports during and after all media campaigns by the agencies  
·  Create capability/training sessions to upskill brand teams on both online and offline media. Scale best practice and learning as part of Agency process 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

·  Bachelor's Degree
·  6 or more years’ experience and superior knowledge of media (both online and offline parts). Probably gained in a leading multinational media agency, advertiser or global digital platform. 
·  An excellent English language communicator with senior stakeholders, peers and reports (conversational and presentational) 
·  Experience managing relationships in a large, multinational, matrix organization. 
·  Experience & strong skills working as or with marketing stakeholders/agencies and an understanding of their likely challenges and information requirements. 

Skills

·  Passion for all kinds of media and their implications for business. Very high willingness to learn 
·  High “bias for action” and leadership. Right Mental Attitude – open communication & walk the talk 
·  Agility to be adapted in vuca environment  
·  Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and articulate customer needs in business and more technical vocabulary, e.g. to convert a Marketer’s request into a stimulating media brief. 
·  Fluency in English & Turkish
