Job description
Main Job Purpose:
The role would primarily include demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, as well as GTM/Customer Operations. It will have the opportunity to work collaboratively in an ‘end to end’ way - with downstream commercial counterparts (CD, Marketing, R&D, Logistics) as well as upstream counterparts (Manufacturing partners).
Key Accountabilities & Job Responsibilities:
Demand Planning:
Lead monthly DP cycle:
Organize and hold monthly DP meeting, have clear input and output for sell in/sell out/channel level stock holding in the meetings.
Build demand forecast with deep understanding of business for full year S&OP.
Drive forecast accuracy (FA) and forecast bias (FB) improvement across all channels according to FA/FB targets.
Inventory Planning & Business Waste Management:
Balance DOH and service KPI to support business growth;
Report YTG month end-stock forecast;
Lead Business Waste bi-weekly meeting to develop clearance and action plans for SLOBs with cross functional team (CD, Marketing).
Supply Planning:
Translate demand / forecast to supply plan;
Regular connects with manufactory to discuss status of supply, as well as ongoing operational issues;
Close connection between supply and business team to flag any supply risks ahead of time;
Innovation / NPD – work closely with HC Innovation lead and business team for smooth & OTIF landing of new products & innovation. Perform required masterdata setup tasks (SKU creation, TP maintenance) where required.
Distribution Requirements Planning:
Arrange distribution plan from factory to RDC, to ensure service by depot reach target;
Work closely with factory and logistics team on OTIF delivery.
Job requirements:
Planning experience in FMCG company or E-commerce based business is mandatory.
Demand planning & S&OP experience is highly preferred.
Commercially savvy and oriented with strong business mindset and attention for detail is a key attribute.
Good communication skills – Chinese and English with ability to work cross functionally and across different cultures is important.
Collaborative, constructive, positive and open mindset to investigate, experiment will be critical for this fast-growing business.
Logical, structured thinking for problem solving will be required for day-to-day job Inquisitive, willingness to learn and ability to handle change in fast-pace environment.
