Main Job Purpose:

The ManEX Coordinator is responsible for the coherent application of WCM techniques across the sourcing units. Working under the guidance of the ManEx Director, she/he will apply rigorous cost deployment to convert losses to cost using loss trees and associated tools. This analysis will support the prioritisation of equipment maintenance, training and process interventions (4Ms) to eliminate those losses identified.

The ManEx Coordinator is the cluster's leading practitioner for Focused Improvement activity and Financial consolidation. This involves interaction with the cluster's plant managers and the factory accountants. Jointly with this team the production cost is analysed based on the 5 cost buckets and then relevant strategies are deployed jointly with the factory plant managers. The ManEx Coordinator provides Teaching, Coaching and Mentoring on WCM issues (CD Matrix, Savings Consolidation through SRS, CPT improvement, OEE trends, Financial Performance, etc) for all factory leaders and Supply Chain leaders. The ManEx Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting on HR 4 Factories benchmarking across sites.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

· Technical. As a minimum standard, the Cluster ManEx Coordinator requires business management skills and the ability to integrate these into the WCM program. This provides them with the ability to interact with the site plant leaders and the site cost accountants on WCM requirements.

· Safety – Interact and integrate plans with the Cluster Safety team. Ensure that WCM activities, learning and training are embedded in a positive SHE culture; support teams in assessing risks for Autonomous Activities and Preventative Maintenance including Task Hazard Analysis.

· WCM Facilitation – Full Operating knowledge of WCM pillar structure and how pillars inter-link to deliver and sustain real business improvements. Inculcates the WCM philosophy of eliminating losses and waste across all factory personnel.

· Teach, coach and mentor semi-autonomous teams to utilize all necessary WCM tools, linking these to the reduction of losses in the factory.

· Lead and facilitate WCM workshops, which focus on priority losses (liaise closely with HR, the Skills Trainer and Manufacturing Manager to integrate and synergize all training and analytical interventions).

· Support the development of local WCM training material but draw on global material wherever possible.

· Continuous Improvement – Support the factory teams in creating regular CD Matrices. Use the results to identify and prioritize losses in the production area. Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses. Deploy these analytical skills across the factory.

· Business Awareness - Understanding of the need to meet changing demands and the role of marketing and product innovation in growing the business and increasing the company's share.

Other Requirements:

· In addition to WCM issues the ManEX Cluster Coordinator may be required by the Manex Director to champion additional performance areas within the Cluster.

Professional Qualifications:

· Business Management or Finance Discipline at graduate level (as graded by national standards).

· Leadership and communication skills as the role requires presentations to senior stakeholders.

· Microsoft Office products proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint at an advanced level)

Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL:

· WCM Practitioner – Experienced WCM Practitioner able to identify the key synergies between MCOs and drive cluster excellence.

PREFERRED / DESIRABLE:

· Extensive experience of manufacturing in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company.
