Job description

·  Key Roles & Deliverables:
·  Advertising Claims and Promotion: Review the advertising claims and promotion activities of our Nutrition and Ice Cream Business Units in China under the guidance of the Nutrition BU General Counsel and Ice Cream BU General Counsel; provide legal risk assessment on packs and communication assets, and ensure product compliance from legal perspective; 
·  Contract Review and Negotiation: Draft and review contracts such as marketing, procurement, sales, etc.; maintain the standard documentation; balance and minimize risks together with the business colleagues to achieve an optimal legal and commercial outcome.
·  Compliance & Corporate Governance Issues: Monitor and improve process for corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the area of marketing codes, anti-monopoly, etc.
·  Develop strong hands-on working relationships with business partners. Actively communicate and follow up on obligations and opportunities arising in connection with commercial transactions. 
·  Disputes and Training: Provide constructive solution to possible disputes by balancing legal and commercial risks and gains; training to China employees on company’s advertising and contract policies as well as globally cascaded legal policies and guidelines.
·  Efficient and quick legal advisory to the Nutrition and Ice Cream HR team on simply HR issues under the support
·  Other related work assigned by the Nutrition BU General Counsel and Ice Cream BU Legal Lead from time to time;

·  Requirements :
·  Strong Chinese law qualification 
·  Fluent in Chinese + English and ability to draft and communicate in both languages
·  2+years of legal experience PQE in a leading local/international law firm or in-house role in the PRC with a multinational corporation.
·  Proficient in evaluating product claims (advertisement & unfair competition compliance, product compliance) and general contracting matters and Unfair Competition compliance ;
·  Experience in advising on anti-trust laws & Data/Privacy is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
·  Gooding understanding of IP related legal knowledge and skills
