Job description
Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job
Provide dedicated support to Korea on all aspects of Source to Pay (STP) & Record to Report (RTR) related matters. Drive continuous process improvement through close monitoring of outsourced team’s performance and strengthened connection with country key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Source to Pay:
1. Understand and implement global standard STP process and drive process efficiency.
2. Monitor 3rd Party AP team’s performance through close KPI tracking.
3. Lead and roll-out global/local continuous improvement projects and run change communication with country stakeholders.
4. Support SOX audit and ensure no control deficiency.
5. Coordinate and deal with service escalations. Liaise with local/global supporting function to resolve operation issues.
Record to Report:
6. Monitor 3rd Party accounting team to run month-end closing cycle for Group reporting OTIF.
7. Prepare group TB / Financial report with commentaries. Review with National Finance Director / Finance Controller on regular basis.
8. Review BS account reconciliation result on monthly basis and drive long aging balance clearance.
Ad-hoc support on cross-region projects.
Key Skills
1. Fluent in both Korean and English (oral and written). Korean major or other advanced language certificate is required.
2. Accounting & Financial Controlling knowledge. Familiar with IFRS. Professional certificate such as CPA, ACCA and the like is preferred.
3. Good communication and change management skills
4. 3rd Party team management skill
5. SAP skills required
6. Office software capability required especially for Excel
Relevant Experience
1. At least 3 years or more finance and accounting work experience
2. Working experience in shared service centre and companies with Korean background is preferred.
