KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER CHAINS NL
Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the food service division within Unilever. UFS operates with a b2b marketing & sales model, serving professionals in the food service market in 77 countries. We are chefs for chefs providing our customers services and solutions within our categories. These categories are savoury, dressings & tea. UFS Netherlands is one of the leading companies in the Dutch Foodservice market. The company has built its success with both back of house (BOH) and front of house (FOH) branded concepts. UFS is organized in operator centric conversion teams (OCT) with the objective to drive integrated demand creation on line and off line. These teams deliver the overall business revenue by driving the total marketing and sales funnel through activations in a cross-functional and agile way of working.
JOB PURPOSE
The chain business is about 35 % of the UFS turnover. The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing the largest chain accounts such as Sodexo and Compass through expertise and collaboration. The role is a senior manager's position within the Dutch Chains operation, and scoped for driving joint business building and being expert on chain accounts. It is a challenging role for a passionate, and entrepreneurial sales professional in the foodservice market who is eager to make an impact on the position of our chain business.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBITIES BE?
Deliver agreed targets to contribute to overall business KPI's, and continuously assess progress for customer as well as UFS by applying corrective action where necessary. This includes:
· Contract compliance;
· Volume and Turnover;
· Gross Margin improvement;
· Top 10 skus;
· Tender business;
· Brand building through FOH concepts and tailored customer activations;
· Monitor execution of plans;
· Develop, agree and execute joint business or customer business plans for business development at designated Key Accounts. Develop, build and review sales performance regularly with all stakeholders.
· Work together with peers in Sales & Marketing in NL, and in Benelux context for the key accounts.
· Secure chain-account investments (TMI), indirect budgets and accruals are utilized efficiently, within thrust and account goals and strategy, and with no unauthorized overrun.
· Participate actively in the Chains team and report performance on a monthly basis.
· Take an active role in the preparation of any major tender or pitch response as required.

EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
· At least 3 years' experience in Sales (Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Field Sales Manager) preferably in a leading foodservice company in the Dutch market or alternatively operator within out of home market.
· Proven experience of working effectively in a process-driven environment and being at ease with operating on an international platform.
