Internship Supply Chain

Job description

We are looking for an intern Supply Chain to support is in the following initiative:

Unilever is storing currently unused manufacturing equipment in a storage in The Netherlands. This equipment represents value but is currently not sufficiently documented and therefore cannot be re-deployed to our factories globally for further usage. For this reason the intern needs to

• Screen and document (type of equipment, technical data, condition, photo's etc) available equipment
• Contact respective Unilever factories for potential use
• Organize transfer of the equipment to these factories
• For the remaining equipment contact second hand equipment dealer for sale

Workplace will be our Sourcing Unit in Nassaukade (Rotterdam) which offers support for administrative and technical aspects. The intern can work quite independent and needs good communication skills towards Unilever Sourcing Units and third party companies.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree on a relevant field for the position;
• Previous internship experience preferred, project management experience is a plus;
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Interest in FMCG industry and sustainability;
• Fluent English skills; additional language skills are a plus;
• Outstanding communication skills;
• Flexible and independent;
• Proficiency in working with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and MS Power Point.
