Background information
The CMI function's mission is to show the business how and where to win. The role of the CMI team is to contribute to delivering our mission by business partnering customer development and marketing teams. CMI is responsible for delivering foresights and insights to the business.
Unilever is always striving to get closer to their consumers. In addition to conducting official market research, it is our ambition that everybody (marketers, CMI, sales, board, etc.) understands the consumer really well in order to grow our business based on strong consumer insights. Different initiatives and programs are currently running in Unilever Benelux to get closer to the consumers. For example, the People Voice program allows employees (including the board) to go on consumer connect and meet a consumer face to face and talk about their life, values, behavior, brands, etc..
Intern CMI ( Consumer and Market Insight)
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
You will be responsible for supporting on several key projects. You will be required to:
• Get the business closer to the consumer by organizing several consumer connect events. You will support in the set-up of the event, communication around it, recruiting respondents and organizing the events;
• Report and review performance based on existing reporting facilities;
• Support the CMI managers on the different categories in their day-to-day work, so you will get to see the varied activities of a CMI job.
Skills & Experience
• You are in the finalizing phase of your study, doing a master in market research, economical psychology, marketing or behavioral economics;
• You have experience with market research during your studies, have set-up questionnaires and analyzed the data by using SPSS and Excel;
• Energize, motivate and inspire the business on getting closer to the consumer. Be an ambassador of the People Voice program;
• You are creative, enthusiastic and have good communication skills;
• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal;
• You are available for a practical internship for a period of 6 months minimum 4 days a week with a start date as soon as possible.
