Background & Purpose of the Job

The SC Project Coordinator role supports and coordinates all aspects of the new products(innovations) and re-stages of product implementation to meet specified project timelines. This role reports to the Jonesboro Associate Site Planning Manager.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

· Supply Chain leader for all innovations, line trials, and POPs for new products, including equipment changes, process improvements, or new production lines. SC leadership includes tracking all projects, timelines, master data set-up, bill of material readiness, and implementation through first production.

· Interface with Innovation Planners/Managers, Plant TIMQ and Engineering Teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility of all new packaging and related revisions at the plant level. Coordinate packaging line trials for packaging materials and work with SC material buyers to ensure material readiness.

· Schedule, conduct, and lead project readiness meetings as needed to determine status of projects, BOM and material readiness, and remaining efforts required. Ensure any organizational, operational or vendor problems are handled that may affect the timing of the projects.

· Project Management including Supply Chain activities and scheduling aspects.

· Review BOM readiness in PLM, make current for plant, enter and maintain master data as it pertains to Supply Chain for planning purposes and MRP activities. Work closely with plant Scheduler, Planners, and MRP buyers. Understand MRP functions and key SAP data fields to drive data integrity.

· Initiate improvements and VIP cost reductions; prepare proposals for review and lead implementation.

· Develop and maintain detailed project trackers for all new product launches, product re-stages, master data, and packaging transitions to support customer service and obsolescence targets.

· Apply continuous improvement methodology and Lead focused improvements in accordance with WCM Methodology to improve innovation process and reduce time to market.

· Act a liaison between all departments to ensure timely completion of specific tasks as they relate to respective projects/goals.

· Work closely with go to market teams, engineering, R&D, operations, Supply Chain team, and suppliers to ensure delivery of new products.

· Participate in Run Strategy, capacity reviews and capability analysis.

· Interact closely with Supply Chain team to drive success.

· Lead waste reduction initiatives around transitioning packs.

· Follow all safety, quality, and GMP policies. Lead safety CARES team as required.

What You'll Need To Succeed

· Bachelor's Degree required; Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Planning, or related fields.
· At least 1 years' experience in manufacturing, materials or project management, or other supply chain role.
· Understanding Material Planning principals (MRP, Inventory Models) preferred
· Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills used in preparing presentations and interaction with both internal and external customers. Ability to accurately interpret written and oral instructions and follow systematic instructions.
· Excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Interact effectively with all levels including other Unilever sites, Supply Chain Planning, manufacturing personnel. Motivate, energize, and foster team activities and relationships. Ability to resolve conflict.
· Strong analytical skills
