MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Reporting Analyst (Workday) is a key part of the Workday Reporting Team, driving forward opportunities for analytics, understanding business requirements from across the whole of Unilever and translating them into new Workday reports where this is required. The team is responsible for ensuring that report deliveries are made on-time and in full, to client satisfaction, and for ensuring that the rules of governance around reporting are upheld.
JOB SUMMARY
· Develop a deep understanding of the Unilever Workday tenants and existing custom reports.
· Work to the Change Request and ticket management processes that the HR function use to request new Workday reports. Assess report requests and compare to the existing reporting catalogue to determine whether new reports are necessary.
· Receive business requirements from HR, assess them and turn these into Workday Reporting requirements.
· Design, build and deliver reports to agreed specifications and document reporting technical details.
· Build and maintain relationships with HR and business users to assist them with using and understanding existing and newly created reports.
· Work with the Lead HR I&A Manager and Reporting Team Lead to identify and exploit opportunities to use enhanced Workday reporting tools for analytics and insights
· Create “ad-hoc” report on request from the Information & Analytic HR team
· Run reports and provide outputs to Third Parties without access to Unilever's Workday system.
· Provide all deliverables within agreed timelines and to exacting standards.
· As Unilever's Workday reporting experts, provide support and guidance to the Information & Analytics HR team on matters related to Workday reporting
· Continually seek to improve our ways of working with Workday reporting and ensure that the system does not become cluttered with duplicate custom reports.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Workday
· Min 2 years of experience as report developer.
· Expert knowledge of Workday object data model
· Expert knowledge of data sources, primary business objects and calculated fields.
· Able to build reports using Workday's report writing tools.
· Knowledge of Worklets and analytics reporting within workday.
· Skilled matching report type to business need and at data visualisation within Workday reporting
· Able to investigate system testing issues.
· Create deployment documentation and able to deploy reports across tenants.
· Knowledge of enterprise HR Systems and data structures. E.g. PeopleSoft will be advantage.
HR
· HR knowledge base with an understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems.
· Experience of other Human Resources Management Systems, preferably Cloud-based.
· Knowledge of HCM design, structure, functions and processes desirable
· Ability to work, deliver and contribute in a matrix global team
Other
