Job description

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Inbound Quality Analyst is responsible for the overall Raw and Packaging Sampling Plan which includes scope, frequency, methods of sampling and testing.

JOB SUMMARY
· Conducts regular review of the sampling plan, revise and update if necessary, in reference to historical test results and material and product risk categories.
· Prepares on time material performance/nonconformance report to summarize findings and test results and coordinates to concerned department for necessary actions.
· Monitors supplier performance and recommends needed actions based on the results.
· Coordinates with Supply Management and National QA team to raise material quality issues and drive for needed corrective actions from supplier.
· Maintains the Analytical laboratory to ensure continuous support to the operations and compliance to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and reviews its capacity based on current needs.
· Responsible for the regular verification of Good Warehousing requirements such as cleanliness of material warehouses, compliance to storage requirements and material handling practices to ensure compliance to set standards.
· Conducts inspection and aseptic sampling of all incoming raw and packaging material deliveries according to agreed sampling plan. Submits samples for micro testing as required by material specification.
· Reviews compliance of supplier's COA/COI (Certificate of Analysis/Inspection) versus specification
· Responsible for the preparation and standardization of reagents needed for material evaluation.
· Conducts sensory and physicochemical testing of raw material according to required parameters in the specification.
· Maintains and updates the raw material reference/standard sample for traceability purposes.
· Conducts visual inspection, evaluation of packaging materials according to sampling plan
· Ensures that Light Standard Dark (LSD) are regularly updated according to agreed timeline
· Performs tagging of materials according to disposition.
· Coordinates timely maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment such as pH meter, Analytical Balance etc.
· Conducts regular inventory and prepares purchase requisition of media and supplies to ensure uninterrupted testing.
· Involve in the risk assessment of raw and packaging materials with Factory QA, Supply Management, and Research and Development team.
· Participates in HACCP studies, validation, and verification programs of the factory.
· Supports regional/local factory audits such as Hygiene Audit, Customer Audit, Government Audit, and Quality Verification Audit.
· Joins supplier audits whenever necessary.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's Degree holder in Chemistry and a Licensed Chemist
· At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance in a Food industry is an advantage
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
