HSE Engineer

Unilever is currently hiring for an HSE Engineer for our Corlu IC Factory.

What you can expect from The Role:

·  Carries out studies to ensure legal compliance, prepares legally required reports on Safety
·  Guides and follows-up reporting of safety and environment incident and near misses in global reporting system and participates in investigations
·  Takes part in Safety Risk Assessment Studies, ensures actions are defined to prevent incidents according to risk
·  Follows up on Permit to Work system and implements improvements to the system as required
·  Reports and follows-up on all SHE actions, provides guidance as safety engineer to find solutions
·  Takes active role in site CSHEC (Central Safety, Health, Environment Committee) and works within sub-committees to improve Safety Culture and Site Safety Priorities
·  Takes active role in improving management of machinery safety, logistic safety, safe travel, slip/trip/fall, process safety hazards
·  Works with the Safety Technicians team to ensure safety related guidance, training and actions are carried out throughout the factory
·  Supports Environmental Engineer and supports as necessary
·  Conduct gap analysis on compliance obligations and Unilever Standard Requirements
·  Follows up and improves PTW system
·  Works as a part of emergency management teams
·  Supports safe contractor management and high risk works as required working with 3 rd Party Safety Specialists
·  Ensures Unilever Standards are met and carries out Safety KPI & KAI Reporting
·  Prepares weekly safety performance report

Does this sound like You?

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
·  Minimum C Class Safety Specialist Certification
·  Min. 3 years of experience in production facilities
·  Experience in FMCG production environment and machinery safety is preferred
·  Good communication skills in Turkish and English
·  Proven ability to influence others and working as a team
·  Attention to details, reliable and analytical
·  Experience in EHS training, ISO 45001 Management System (ISO 14001 knowledge is preferable)
·  Good knowledge of MS Office tools, strong presentation skills
·  Preferrable international safety training, e.g. NEBOSH, CMSE, OSHA
·  Eager to develop yourself and your team
·  Continuous improvement mindset
·  Willing to live in Çorlu, Tekirdağ
