GtM Promotional 3PM Capacity Planner

Job Summary:

This position oversees the production execution of promotional activities within the Category to achieve customer service, inventory, and waste targets. This includes managing production site capacity, utilization and throughput and coordinating communication between production sites, WIP planners and category planners. The position is a focal point for the execution of Customer Development and Brand Building initiatives and is therefore a key role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute the detailed scheduling of production, production monitoring, procurement and key vendor communication, and waste disposal management
• Monitor repacker capacity by site and coordinate contingency planning to ensure all production is protected
• Key interface between promotional planning, repack operations, logistics operations, and procurement
• Manage repacker throughput to minimize finished goods inventories while maximizing case-fill to customers
• Overall production site management for key and overflow repackers
• Monitoring inbound WIP and materials needed to support production; including
• Interface with project management team, production sites, promotional and WIP planners, logistics, and packaging vendors
• Key in cost control through forecast error minimization, project coordination, and inventory planning
• Strategic capacity planning across the entire Repack 3PM network in collaboration with Capacity Planner East
• Effectively execute all of the appropriate information systems, providing timely and accurate information for management and business teams
• Own and report out on capacity KPIs

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Planning, Engineering or related fields
• 1-3 years' experience in Planning or other Supply Chain experience
• APICS certification or progress towards certification preferred
• Proficiency in PC based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite), SAP and APO
