ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting an Global Cost Control Analyst within our Global Cost Controllers Finance function.
This role is part of the Global Cost Controller's Team based in 100VE London and reports to the Global Overheads Finance Manager. The role will work closely with the finance teams in the market clusters, Enterprise and Technology Solutions (ETS) and other members of the Global Cost Controller's team. The role also has an important link with the Enterprise Support Information Management (ESIM) team based in Bangalore.
The purpose of the Global Cost Control Analyst is to:
• To provide full and timely monthly, quarterly and year end reporting for overheads and restructuring
• Analysis of monthly overheads costs and quarterly restructuring forecast collections
• To coordinate the quarterly forecast collections via the Marlin Restructuring Investment System
• The role may involve the handing over of routine tasks from the overheads team to ESIM.
• The incumbent will also assist the Global Overhead Managers in the coordination and communication with the country teams (MCOs).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key accountabilities of the Global Cost Control Analyst are as follows:
Overheads
• Monthly overheads reporting, working with ESIM to produce the monthly overheads booklet and functional reports
• Manage Year on year adjustments input from countries
• Overheads governance and guidelines
• Tableau Overheads Reporting maintenance
• Restatement functionality in Incurred Cost Reporting (ICR) system – governance process, roll out, communication and change management
• Ad-hoc overheads reporting requests
Restructuring
• Quarterly Restructuring Reporting through Marlin collections and reconciliation with iFInance reporting system
• Working with Market Cluster and Pillar contacts and Marlin end users to drive reporting accuracy through data improvements in the Marlin system
• Ensure all Market Clusters and Pillars adhere to the mandatory restructuring guidelines and use Marlin to its full capability
• Provide training and support to new users of Marlin
Information Management & Continuous Improvements
• Work closely with ESIM to investigate the possibility of moving the quarterly restructuring report production to Bangalore. This would free up the analyst time to further scrutinize the information and drive data quality
• Work with ESIM / overheads community to continuously evolve and improve efficiency & effectiveness of changing overhead reporting needs
• Quarterly scoring of the accuracy of the Marlin Restructuring submissions
• Identify Marlin enhancements and work with the development team to implement in the system
• Managing the overhead website monthly and updating it with new and relevant information
• Responding to MCOs queries regarding the restructuring scoring process
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Qualified/part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with Tableau desktop would be beneficial
• Well-developed communication skills
• Ability to respond and deliver under pressure
