Job description
Based on the responsible sourcing global framework, the Social Accountability Manager will be responsible for deploying the Responsible Sourcing agenda for the region: acting to reinforce Unilever´s commitment of working together with the suppliers towards a long-term, sustainable and successful future for all parties.
This role is also in charge of work with Procurement team to ensure the deliverable of business objectives while making a positive social impact on the lives of millions of people in Unilever´s supply chains throughout LATAM and reducing our environmental impact. These ambitions are at the core of our Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP). The Responsible Sourcing includes a set of Mandatory Requirements which all our suppliers need to meet to be able to do business with Unilever. Beyond this, Unilever encourages the suppliers to move from the Mandatory Requirements, to Good Practice, and onwards to Best Practice – Unilever is committed to work with our suppliers on this journey of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Responsible Sourcing and Global Programs. Fluent English is Mandatory. Must have ownership of the delivery of the partnering companies.
