JOB PURPOSE

ECOMMERCE
The consumer packed industry (CPG) is facing an enormous digital growth opportunity. The prominence shift from brick & mortar and related shelf-space towards ecommerce and related new business models, is developing rapidly. Today consumers order their food & beverages online and expect it to be delivered to them within 30 minutes, whereas the rise of disruptive startups offering these services, are altering the existing landscape. The development of new digital capabilities and skills in order to stay competitive in this space are pivotal for Unilever to leverage this digital trend.

ABOUT THE ROLE
· As eCommerce & DTC specialist Out-of-Home you are a fast learning entrepreneur who has affinity with eCommerce and digital project management and feels comfortable and persuasive in pioneering and executing new initiatives.
· In this role you will work in close contact with the eCommerce Manager Out-of-home to step up our eCommerce activities in the fast developing and diverse Out-of-Home market. Your goal is to drive new business models that are fit for “winning tomorrow”. This includes identifying and setting up relevant partnerships and developing new business models for several of our OOH brands.
· Your prime focus and responsibility is scaling our activities with delivery service customers like Thuisbezorgd, Uber Eats and New York Pizza. You are the linking pin between Marketing, Sales and our key partners in the field of eCommerce and Direct to Consumer initiatives. This includes managing the recruitment of new pick up points, opening virtual stores on each platform for our brands and driving traffic to our partner platforms and our virtual stores.
· Furthermore you apply the learnings from delivery services to improve our brand portals through which we drive traffic and sales to our food service partners. For this you function in a cross functional and cross brand team.
· This position will enable you to develop a deep understanding of eCommerce and is and a great opportunity to enter Unilever and discover the local impact you can make at this global player.
· You will be part of the Dutch ecommerce team closely linked to the European team and will have access to global best practices. You will report to the eCommerce Manager Out-of-Home.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
· Drive growth at our online wholesaler customers by generating knowledge and efficiently activating our online assortment and creating an atmosphere of jointly testing and learning
· Function as an advisor and consultant to the broader OOH community on eCommerce initiatives
· Drive new business models in food delivery that are fit for “winning tomorrow”
· Maintain strong communication across multiple departments within Unilever: front-end (e.g. customer teams, brand teams, online marketing) and back-end (e.g. Supply chain)
· Generate learnings to be translated across the industry and develop (international) best practices
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
· A bias for action and entrepreneurial mindset
· A good comprehension of online performance & marketing channels
· A passion for data in order to understand trends and create insights in a new and undeveloped market.
· Has lots of energy, a commercial focus, and a sense of urgency to every project you touch.
· An active approach to align and educate people within the organization on ecommerce
· Min. 1-4 years of work experience with some form of commercial accountability, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
· E-commerce/online marketing fanatic, positively curious and a technology enthusiast.
· Comfortable with Excel, Power BI is a plus
· Experience with CMS (Demandware, Adobe) CRM tools and other online tooling is a plus.

YOU HAVE
· 1-2+ years of eCommerce/Digital project management experience
· Strong entrepreneurial bias with a bias for action and a proven track record of generating new ideas, implementing these and analyzing these new concepts
· Master degree
· Must have: Fluent in Dutch and English
NICE TO HAVE
· Experience in CPG / FMCG categories such as Refreshments & Food
· Experience in a Start up
