MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Here you'll empower the UK Net Revenue Management team to develop new Smart Data practices & capability enabling the fastest growing team in the UK to grow faster and make better data-driven decisions.
You are the catalyst working cross functionally with different departments within the company. You'll accompany the Commerce manager and Net Revenue Management team to roll out a program that will identify opportunities by category. Using that continuous improvement eye you'll spot areas of improvement by analysis and critical work flows. Herein lies a massive opportunity: to craft the strategy and future growth opportunity for the channel. How would we extract data from new places, what are the learnings, where do we go from there?...
JOB SUMMARY
You love to win, and have fun doing it: Tracking Net Revenue Management performance in market. Developing the program and it's roll-out. Analysing large data sets to help business hypothesis on online Net Revenue Management
You're a strategy guru: Building tools for new capability & tools projects. Demonstrating the optimization of media and promotional ROI through Marketing Mix Modelling output
You're a change maker and influencer: Interacting with the end-users (typically UK eCommerce team) to ensure the tools are fit for use & tailored to the UK market
You're a culture & change champion: Demonstrate & drive adoption of the tools through training and 1-2-1 support. Be the product owner and guide for the project owner & tech teams
You're a storyteller: Optimizing Nielson, Kantar, 5One (Ocado) and One Click Retail (Amazon) databases to deliver data driven insight.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Degree preferred (preference: Mathematics, or finance based degree)
· Experience in identifying opportunities from data and working through a process to bring insights to reality
· Experience of the FMCG industry
· Strong numeracy and analytical skills and ability to work with financial and external market data
· Strong ability to generate insights from analyses and synthesize findings
· Good financial knowledge
· Computer-literate & highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
