The Purpose of Role:

Ecommerce and New Business Models are a clear growth driver for Unilever

The consumer packed industry (CPG) is facing an enormous digital growth opportunity. The prominence shift from brick & mortar and related shelf-space towards eCommerce and related new business models is developing rapidly. Today consumers are highly accessible towards information sharing via digital platforms and tools which changes how consumers behave. In parallel to these changes is the rapid advancement of digital capabilities. This is an exciting disruption and eCommerce is now the utmost priority of the business. Unilever’s expectation and ambition to “WIN” in this channel have never been so clear.

Team Structure:

· Reporting to: Head of eCommerce
· Direct reports: None
· Indirect reports: 1 – graphic designer

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead sales and operations for E-commerce at Unilever engaging with internal and external customers
· Drive customer-specific e-commerce initiatives and opportunities to grow online market share and brand presence (focus on platform sell-out), maximizing conversion across the funnels.
· Build a long-term relationship with e-commerce partners and their operational teams
· Work closely with the analytics, eCommerce lead, brand team & media agencies to continuously optimize for campaign objectives and performance metrics in real-time plans, ensuring qualitative traffic to Unilever properties and partners stores, aimed at converting to either data capture or sales and maximizing the ROAS
· Manage and deliver superior conversion led search optimization to drive eCommerce sales
· Budget management for eCommerce performance
· Evaluate, track and report the success of projects/campaigns

Key Stakeholders:

· Internal: Brand team, Media team, Channel & Category team, Finance
· External: Retailers and Distributors

Travel:

30% of the time for traveling - meeting customers/distributors

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

· Min. 3 years of working experience in an e-Commerce role
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Good understanding of the large-scale eCommerce platform operations
· Demonstrable track record of delivering growth & success in e-Commerce platform
· Strong commercial acumen & project management skill

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

· Working experiences with E-Commerce Pure Player
· Working experiences with FMCG company
· Entrepreneur & start-up attitude. Self-starter who focus on experimenting and exploring a new solution.
· Passionate about delivering new digital ideas/projects
