Customs Tariff Specialist

Job description

Accountability (Deliverable Outputs):

· 
Manage and control customs declarations and tax assessments from a legal and compliance perspective (audit proof)

· 
First point of contact in case on daily customs for customs brokers, (logistic department, planning, procurement)

· 
Country specific customs requirements fulfillment;

· 
Preferential origin check, customs classification and supervision on duty rates applied in SAP GTS;

· 
Requesting of LTSD and other proof of origin from 3rd party suppliers via SAP GTS;

· 
Issuing the LTSD and other proof of origin to Unilever clients;

· 
Daily tariff customs related issue solving;

· 
Manage ways of working with the 3PL, different Unilever departments and other non-Unilever parties involved in new product launches;

· 
Manage relations with customs brokers, logistic, planning and procurement department.

Requirements:

· 
Fluent English

· 
Experience in customs /logistics will be an asset

· 
Good overall computer skills (Excel, Power Point)

· 
Communication skills

· 
Good knowledge of logistics processes
