This role will be instrumental in bringing our vision to life by ensuring maximum mental availability of our brands front of house.
JOB SUMMARY
Working with Chain Customers across Hotels, Cafes, Restaurants, Pubs, Travel & Leisure channels you will be responsible for executing the 6P's in a tailor made way for each customer. Focus will be on our Tea Brands but there will also be opportunities for other solutions such as Hellmann's, Colman's, Marmite & Snacking Brands that will be highly relevant for certain customers.Accountable for identifying the customer's needs in order to create tailor made 6P's solutions to deliver sales growth targets set for the above channels.
Great communication skills, written and verbal, are essential and you must be comfortable with numbers in order to manage budgets, create business cases for NPD and manipulate and interpret data. This role has the scope to allow you to make a big personal impact within the business and you will be required to present to customers and co create solutions with them.
Day to Day
· Develop a deep understanding of the customers needs in order to build a relationship and partnership.
· Propose the best 6 P's mix for each customer with a compelling selling story
· Execute the proposal on time and in full with each customer creating amazing 360 marketing campaigns
· Create business cases for any new bespoke products needed for a customer and lead the innovation process.
· Create selling stories by channel for the sales teams to be able to present our solutions – based on the channel insights and needs.
· Develop and lead the FOH Commercial Chains business plan working with CD.
Category Knowledge
· Develop a deep understanding or our Tea Brands – this will require training on becoming a Tea Expert across all our brands.
· Develop a deep understanding of all of our front of house brands and solutions so you can with confidence recommend the best solutions for customers.
· Collaborate with the retail teams and UFS brand teams to create one aligned voice for our brands front of house.
General
· Manage budgets and invoicing
· Lead the artwork process for any bespoke solutions required
· Lead the annual planning process for Front of House
· Manage production, storage and availability of merchandise
· Create briefs for creative agencies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Degree level (Marketing/business studies preferably) or International Equivalent essential plus minimum Grade B in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
· Evidence of succeeding with an entrepreneurial, “can do” mindset. The successful person needs to be able to demonstrate that they are highly motivated, pro-active and are results orientated and are able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
· A demonstrable track record of delivery in Customer Marketing and experience of developing and executing effective customer plans.
· Minimum of four years marketing experience: ideally with a minimum of two years in a Marketing Management role within the foods industry (FMCG or Foodservice).
· Great communication skills: written, verbal and presentational
· A demonstrable customer focused attitude, able to build broad relationships, problem solve and uncover win-win solutions.
· Strong commercial acumen
· Resilience and tenacity - both externally and internally
· Self starter - able to work both independently and as a team member
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office suite, but also able to demonstrate an ability to understand and utilise other systems
· Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time
· Good commercial awareness and numerical ability: P&L understanding to drive impactful plans with customers & innovation
· National travel and flexibility for overnight stays and out of hours travel and events – that could be considerable at times
· Regular attendance at Leatherhead Head Office
· Occasional International travel may be required
