Background & Purpose of the Job

The CPFR Analyst is the primary point of contact for customer Replenishment. The role is critical to developing a high quality relationship with this supply chain driven customers, and plays a vital internal role supporting sales growth and driving operational efficiencies while working collaboratively with Supply and Demand Planning and Customer Development.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

• The CPFR Analyst is responsible for supporting critical decisions and providing recommendations impacting both the customer and Unilever finished goods inventory. The individual must balance maximizing in-stock goals while minimizing inventory levels within both Unilever Canada and our customer's supply chain network. Influencing the customer, our account team, and our internal supply teams is critical to the effectiveness of this role.
• The success of the CPFR Analyst is measured by exceeding 98.5% on both in-stock and product fill rate goals while delivering target return on inventory investment, supporting sales growth, accurately predicting future demand forecasts, and effectively identifying and resolving any supply chain disconnects between our internal planning process and our customer's inventory requirements.
• Achieving these goals will deliver customer satisfaction and maximize sales for both Unilever Canada and our customer.
• You will be accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with team. You should be effective in influencing the Customer Replenishment team as necessary, gain support for replenishment policies that maximize product availability, all the while minimizing inventory in the customer's supply chain network and identifying opportunities for end-to-end supply chain efficiencies.
• Responsible for meeting customer fill rate target (98.0%) with no out-of-stocks at the distribution centers. This is accomplished by proactively analyzing inventory levels using customer data, identification of any forecast behaviors or inventory issues, followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them.
• Forecasting: Use judgment to balance risk of “over forecasting”, the impact inventory levels will have on our business cash versus “under forecasting” and missing out on potential sales opportunities.
• Evaluate the customer's supply chain to ensure that the customer could benefit from a mutually integrated supply chain with Unilever. Customers could represent over $200 MM in NSV.
• •Maximize sales through optimal on-shelf availability and maintaining optimal customer inventory levels
• •Ability to become the resident expert on customer's unique systems which are continually changing.
• •Strong SAP knowledge with a full understanding of the supply chain - From Unilever to the retailer's shelf.
• •Strong analytic capabilities using advanced Excel skills. Access skills an asset
• •Data base mining using SSRS reporting an asset
• •Act as key linkage to Customer Development (Sales) Team

You're a dot connector: Must see “big picture” in analyzing and/or solving complex and sometimes focused issues so that modifications could allow Unilever to leverage initiatives with other customers.
You're a changemaker: Continual change via customer initiatives that could counterbalance Unilever SC directives.
You're a paradox navigator: Evaluating the cost & complexity of customized services with the improvement in service to top customer & potential revenue enhancements.

What You'll Need To Succeed
•Undergraduate degree in Business related fields
•Experience: 3-5 years of relevant Sales / Logistics / Supply Chain Planning.
•Experience in CPFR a MUST
•SAP Experience is an asset
