Background and Purpose of the Job:

The role of the CPFR Analyst is to efficiently maximize on-shelf stock availability and minimize unproductive inventory in supply network through collaboratively working with customer and internal stakeholders on planning, forecasting and replenishment. Ensuring right product in right place, at right amount, thereby providing our consumers with the ultimate enjoyment of our products.

CPFR is our primary point of contact for customer’s Supply Chain team. You will actively collaborate with customer on promotional planning, forecasting, promotional execution, and inventory replenishment. Continuing learning customer’s ways of working and providing insightful recommendation for an efficient and uninterrupted flow of product to stores are important for developing and maintaining a high-quality relationship.

Your knowledge from customer plays a vital internal role in supporting Customer Development for a perfect execution on innovations and promotions where you can offer unique insights by analyzing customer’s knowledge with internal processes. You will also provide insights and recommendations to support SOP process for critical decision on sales goal and production planning.

Your success as a CPFR Analyst is measured by product fill rate goals while delivering target return on inventory investment, supporting sales growth, proactively predicting future demand forecasts, and effectively identifying and resolving any supply chain disconnects between our internal planning process and our customer’s inventory requirements.

Achieving these goals will deliver customer satisfaction and maximize sales for both Unilever Canada and our customer.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do:

Position Responsibilities

Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with your customer contacts to meet store service and OSA target.

Seamless planning and execution for promotion and innovation.

· 
Proactively analyzing data for continuing improve inventory replenishment and forecasting

· 
Effectively manage timely and transparent communication

· 
Work closely with Customer Development team to achieve joint business goals.

· 
Excellent promotion management by ensuring internal signals drive the best opportunity for success

· 
Analyze and provide recommendation for innovation forecasting (pipeline & replenishment) and timing.

· 
Proactively analyze customer data to provide insights that would impact internal forecast.

· 
Support of Supply Chain to improve inventory efficiency and cost reduction.

· 
Proactively identify short term risks vs forecast by analyzing data and insight from customer.

· 
Effectively manage special pack and obsolete product with planning team to reduce cost to the business.

Challenges

Evaluate trade-off between time, cost, and service to satisfy both Unilever and its customer’s needs. Must see “big picture” in analyzing and/or solving complex and sometimes focused issues so that modifications could allow Unilever to leverage initiatives with other customers. Participate in the execution (either pilot or full roll-out) of new programs. Continual change via customer initiatives that could counterbalance Unilever SC directives. Evaluate the cost & complexity of customized services with the improvement in service to top customer & potential revenue enhancements. Have continue improvement mindset always look for solutions for efficiencies. Appetite for building creative new tools, leveraging Power BI and automation processes

Scope

· 
Evaluate the customer’s supply chain to ensure that the customer could benefit from a mutually integrated supply chain with Unilever.

· 
Maximize sales through optimal on-shelf availability and maintaining optimal customer in-stock and inventory levels

· 
Ability to become the resident expert on customer’s unique systems which are continually changing

· 
Execute promotions and problem solve using your full understanding of the supply chain from our DC to retailers’ shelf.

· 
Act as key linkage to Customer Development (Sales), Forecasting and Planning Teams

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

· 
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business-related fields

· 
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain CPFR / Logistics / Planning roles

· 
Experience in CPFR an asset

· 
APICS Certification or retail Supply Chain Certification a plus

· 
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability

· 
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

· 
Strong analytical, planning, project management skills.

· 
Strong internal/external customer centric focus

· 
Good communication skills, written/oral

· 
Proficient in Microsoft Suite with strong skills in Excel and Power BI

· 
Basic understand of relational database and SQL language is a plus:

·
