Job description
CD Operations is responsible for a smooth and cost effective operation between the company, customers, and specific third parties. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-today operation of the CD organisation, thus enabling account, field and customer marketing teams to focus on core selling roles.
Main accountabilities:
By it's nature, CD operations covers a broad area. Depending on the size of the OpCo, the CD Operations Assistant Manager has the responsibility for one or more of the following key areas:
1. SIFG alignment with Trade Strategy Supports setting the process and
contribute to the definition of :
- National Trade Strategy
- Customer Value Assessment
- Trade Terms Structure
- Coordinate Pricing
2. Business processes & operating guidelines
Ensure smooth processes are in place to deliver:
- Retail Strategy
- CBP / CMP
- CD input into S&OP
- Annual nego strategy
- OpCo and assortment
- Be the program management office for CD specific initiatives, incl. WwC
- Set up and structure all CD business meetings
3. Methods, tools, systems & data
Maintain and implement supporting tools
- Customer Hierarchy
- Sales reporting model
- EPOS data
- Support CS re. EDI / CRP / VMI
- GDS model
4. Communication, information, training
- Assist Country Manager in organizing and facilitating internal and external CD
communications
- Provide all CD information to Field Sales, other CD roles and other departments
- Contribute to identifying of needs and roll out training programs
- Implement sales incentives model
5. Responsible for implementing SHEQ and Security policies and management
systems relevant to the role.
Essential:
· Minimum of two to three years working experience within the CD function
· Strong experience in designing and managing processes
· Business planning experience
· Project management experience
Desirable:
Customer Facing Experience
