Main Job Purpose:
From a strategic element, implement the marketing (Category) plans into a Country, Channel and Customer specific plan, with guidance from the CCD Ass.
From an operational perspective, the role is central to Business Delivery involving the day to day tasks of the category, channel & customer. The CCD Exc will provide clarity to the CD Team on M0 activity plan, category strategy, promo & pricing strategy, key innovations/renovations, channel priorities, core of the core & NRM.
Understands the channel footprint of business in the market, optimizes the full extent of the channel opportunity, sets the customer/channel targets to reflect channel choices & prioritization and leads the CD team to operationalize the plan.
Max the mix, reviews trade spends as part of monthly performance cycle with customer teams to identify, highlight issues and correction actions.
Manage budgets in line with the forecast and cascade a clear brief & KPI’s by 6P’s for the CD team to execute . They work closely with other sub-functions within Customer Development (National Account Management, Shopper Marketing, Trade Category Management and Operations) as well as across large business functions (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain). Feeds insight into the IBP process.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Delivery:
· Consolidates all CD input into S&OP and supports the S&OP output (month 1-3) – they will support/drive CD business performance in the month and quarter
· Leads monthly/bi weekly performance management review meetings with Account Managers to ensure plans are executed on time, in full. Identify, highlight and resolve issues and opportunities
· Identify and close gaps in the short term forecast through the S&OP cycle.
Category - Channel Strategy
· Develops a full understanding of the overall Category - Channel Strategy to ensure development/execution of local Customer Facing Channel Strategy (CFCS) with Trade Category Management
· Deep understanding of Country Channel - Customer footprint to ensure differentiation that helps accelerate our growth based on Channel choices and priortization.
· Supports the CCD Ass and is responsible for the implementation of the Internal Category Business Plan that helps shape the CFCS part of the IBP Process.
· Supports the Channel strategies incl. new (ecommerce, omni-channel) and traditional channels (e.g. TT Food, Drug, etc.) by geography to win in-store/ online.
· Will analyse and implement actions for category COTC KPI’s ie. Improvement of distribution and OSA & feed this into S&OP
NRM & Trade Spends
· Supports the CCD Ass whom holds the ownership of TTS at category level - tracks and redistribution/trade off of spend by channel and customer to drive growth strategies – Input category P&L into planning quarterly/monthly financial forecasts
· Input into holistic shaping of customer/ channel investment (shopper marketing, trade marketing, in-store)
· The CCD Exc must ensure that all pricing, dealing levels and master data information is up to date. They also need to ensure all key information is available and ready for priority meetings.

· NPI planning with the sales team driven by Launch Kit
· Regular NPI Performance tracking; weekly updates to the sales team and monthly scorecard presentation to Leadership team
· Active participation in development of customer annual plans, (led by distributor teams)
· Gathering and sharing shopper, retailer and competition updates and insights
· Regular EPOS data sharing, working on data enhancements and data analytics as per business requirements

Key Competencies & Skills:
· Bachelor's dergee with 1 - 2 years of Sales / Supply Chain experience
