·  Underserved markets such as landlocked, small, island, etc. where UI manages end to end.
·  Underserved consumers such as ethnic and diaspora consumers around the world.
·  Underserved channels such as hotel chains, government institutions, cross-border e-comm and more.
·  Underserved brands such as Simple, Maille, Olly, Pears, and more where more focus and international distribution can spur growth.
·  Underserved formats and categories to complement existing brands, such as Vaseline lip care, Hellmann’s in Japan, and more.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: 

Identify and develop a network of brand building distributor and commercial partners in the Greater Caribbean region to incubate and scale the Unilever portfolio reaching those many customers that currently lack of the Unilever unique and relevant portfolios. 

The role has also the responsibility for the following tasks.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

·  Achieve IOP numbers as agreed with Sr BDM.
·  Help manage seeding business: develop direct contact to ensure seeding business is in good shape including:
·  Sort out discontinuations and provide replacements required.
·  Approve TTS activities and budget.
·  Forecast volumes by SKU per customer.
·  Develop new activities to promo sales at the point of sale.
·  Assess portfolio of products and launch new skus as needed and in line with the strategy.
·  Ensure coherent pricing and packaging architecture.
·  Assist with forecast process.
·  Assist with deduction process.
·  Actively participate in strategic and operational meetings.
·  Aid with Admin work as assigned by Sr. BDM.
·  Price corrections.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED IN SIMILAR ROLES: 2.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION NEEDED:

- Bachelor’s degree.

- Advanced level of English (Oral, Written). Comfortable working every day in English. (Must).

WHAT YOU´LL NEED TO SUCCEED?

·  Previous experience in dealing with Caribbean distributors.
·  Knowledge of FMCG ways of working in the Caribbean.
·  Entrepreneurial mindset.
·  Robust capacity to deal with ambiguity.
·  Distributor’s management skills.
·  Work well under pressure.
·  Work well with little supervision.
·  Open to Travel.
