SALARY: UP TO £37,000

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of this role is to provide valuable insight and analysis for the Consumer & Market Insight team to inform our Home Care Category strategy ensuring that Unilever retains its status as one of the leading FMCG's in the world. Our high performing team are the go to team within the business globally for solutions, analytics and data interpretation. Whilst this is mainly a supportive role, you should be managing some projects on your own after 3 months in the job. In this role you will contribute to delivering our mission by supporting a Business Analyst(BA) Manager in business partnering with a marketing team with ample opportunity for rapid learning both from a skills and competency perspective in support of a BA Manager.

JOB SUMMARY
· Supports the BA Manager in managing projects for Household Care Category
· Defines the nature and scope of the analysis / provides breakdown of a project activities
· In conjunction with the BA Manager conducts and co-ordinates the project with the research supplier
· Manages project within agreed budgets and timings
· Interprets and communicates key findings/recommendations
· Uses ongoing data and other market research techniques / methodologies to provide analysis
· Works on ongoing Category reporting (database driven)
· Develops own research skills, making full use of: Consumer & Market Insight (CMI) Portal, CMI Guidelines tools and templates
· Builds own understanding of key business processes e.g. Category / brand strategy, Integrated Brand Planning (IBP), Innovation and Renovation (IPM), Communication (IBC), MI and Digital
· This role offers training opportunities and coaching/mentoring from line manager but there are minimum skills and experience needed to be considered as you will be expected to be managing your own projects after 3 months

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· University Degree or equivalent
· At least 2-3 years of work experience in market research field and proven experience working with data
· Mandatory: Familiarity with the data management environment / retail or consumer panel
· Advantageous: Experience of merging information from various data sources
· Advantageous: Experience in Digital / Social listening / Big Data
· Very good Excel skills
· Strong analytical skills; excellent data analysis skills and ability to drive insights out of data to produce valuable strategic business insights
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly summarize research results and communicate with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
· Strong project management skills, able to implement multiple projects simultaneously
· Presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
