Background & Purpose of the Job

The R&D Digital Transformation Expert plays a key role embedding and influencing a digital mindset in the NA Nutrition and Ice Cream Business Units. This role works alongside cross-functional digital teams from other regions as needed representing NA with knowledge of our current WOWs.

The R&D Digital Transformation Expert is data driven and is willing to think out of the box to co-create processes and ways-of-working that will lead the NA R&D team to a digital future. 

Who You Are & What You’ll Do:

You will work with your team to build the expertise to drive data quality in specifications and you will be strengthening the capabilities in data engineering, visualization, reporting, data science and modelling to provide maximum support to our R&D teams and the business.  You will work with R&D users defining and deploying our data systems starting from a PLM system and supporting users in effective usage of the End2End tools. You will make sure systems are used to its full potential applying efficiency and standardization of data structure.   You will be the voice of our R&D teams for new tools/apps ensuring that our ways-of-working is represented when it comes time for the tools/apps to go-live.   Maintaining and improving data quality standards of Specifications, Recipes and Product Information is our top goal.

Accountabilities:

· 
Support NA R&D Nutrition and Ice Cream data governance and goals through specific improvement projects, processes, and procedures focusing on the digital transformation agenda.

· 
Involvement in development of the global tools/apps and ensuring the tools meet the needs and requirements of NA R&D N&I.

· 
Partner with global task teams to improve usage of existing tools and translate the business need to functional requirement for the tools, coordinate roll-out and implementation.

· 
Support ongoing training and clinic sessions for the regional team on Digital tools.

· 
Lead the PLM and PIT Super User regional calls.

· 
Support Data Quality activities pulling data from dashboards and cascading reports to our NA R&D N&I teams. 

· 
Seek out ways to adopt new digital tools to improve current ways of working.

· 
Provide support for User Acceptance Tests in PLM.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

· 
Bachelors Degree with 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably Digital Orientation and Attitude.

· 
People oriented inspiration and influencing for the adoption of digital tools.

· 
Oral presentation to an extended audience communicating trainings/cascades.

· 
Autonomy and proactivity in organizing and maintaining training material and shared sites

· 
Proficiency knowledge on Excel/Power Point/Power Apps (desirable)

· 
Ability to learn and translate/share the knowledge to others

· 
Passion to innovate and find opportunities to current operations

· 
Structured and organized behavior and attitude

· 
Experience with Unilever along with its systems and ways of working

· 
Goal oriented

· 
Ability to work effectively in multifunctional, multicultural, and multi-located teams.

Pay : The pay range for this position is $53,200 to $79,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus : This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
