JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
This role supports the Global Health & Wellbeing Project Management Organization in strategic project management, governance oversight, budget maintenance, risk identification, and resource allocation for all China-based projects. Key responsibilities will include project management, across VMS brands, of all international expansion projects and local development projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operate with a “dual hat” mentality – leading local teams to execute China lead initiatives as well as supporting the Global Platform Team to execute China importation projects.
·
Management of project scope, timeline governance, resource allocation, and Investor Board approval of China for China innovation projects.
·
Upstream support of China Leadership Team and Global Brand Team for importation project identification based on product readiness and consumer demand.
·
Overall project management tracking (inclusive of meetings, timelines, risk identification, stage gate process, etc) for import Cross Border E-Commerce (CBEC) projects for all H&W brands.
·
Coordination of communication with main stakeholders, project teams and steering teams including gate progression.
·
Support of the H&W PMO with risk escalation and decision meetings.
·
Organization of projects and resource allocation within Project Management software.
·
Support supply management teams within Operating Companies and the total Global Platform Team to define critical path activities and understand central sourcing contingencies.

Support Product Development Teams in stewarding unique brand guardrails.
·
Contribute fully to a climate for success in project teams: foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward, and celebrate achievements.

Develop collaborative relationships across matrixed organization
·
Own & drive issues identification & resolution and assure smooth transition between key decision points. Ensure project teams correctly define and resolve issues within its remit plus developing Sponsor recommendations for resolution of issues outside remit.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Bachelor’s degree required in food science, biological sciences, data science, chemical engineering, packaging engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
·
5+ years project leadership required.
·
Fluency in Mandarin required.
·
Technical expertise preferred with a deep understanding of critical R&D, regulatory, and quality metrics with previous roles focusing on product development, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance or a background in FMCG Supply Chain disciplines.
·
Agile and problem-solving mindset with strong ability to simplify complex problems to actionable plans
·
Experience working internationally and in virtual teams and ability to work a flexible hour schedule to provide access to international time zones.
·
Strong experience in complex project management (including cross-functional teams and external advisors).
·
Experience in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
·
Attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills.
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
·
Ability to think flexibly to meet constantly shifting priorities and timelines and to independently provide solutions to issues.
