JOB TITLE: Global Assistant Procurement Manager – Oleochemicals
JOB LOCATION: Singapore
RELOCATION TERMS: Local Terms only


MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Provide support and contribute to procurement initiatives for the portfolio assigned

JOB SUMMARY

· Responsible for delivery of Procurement Key Performance Indicators’ such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Payment Terms Extension, Cost Target, Gross Margin Improvement, Traceability & Sustainability, and etc. in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management
· Support security of key materials through the development of contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers, working with Procurement Materials teams
· Close working with Suppliers and consuming countries to ensure material availability.
Responsible for pricing accuracy together with other members of the Regional/Global team
Responsible for Price Forecast maintenance
· Support in identifying Surflex opportunities, and at times lead regional implementation of global projects involving Oleochemicals
· Support delivery of cost savings in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.
· Support Procurement Manager with the tendering process and the subsequent benchmarking and total cost analysis
· Support complexity reduction programs
· Continuously improve ways of working e.g. more efficient ways of handling data, thereby close co-operation with Enterprise support and Capability Teams
· Support the management and maintenance of supplier relationships
· Support compliance initiative, e.g. contract management, SQA/RS, specs, and etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· University degree
· 3-5 years of experience in Buying or Procurement preferably in Chemicals
· Experience in Finance (Costing & Pricing) is a plus
· Basic understanding of International Trade – Duties, Taxes, and etc.
· Good understanding of suppliers and the external competitive environment in Oleochemical industry
· Experience in being accountable for Target delivery.
· Excellent Excel/Presentation skills and Analytical Skills
· Good Communication Skills and able to work in fast paced environment and manage timelines
