JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  If you are pastionate about guarantee the perfect execution of the Procurement Strategy of local Chemicals into the related Business Units the factories and other areas in the Supply Chain and to be fully accountable for managing your own scope of materials end to end then this role is just for you!

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

· 
Fully accountable for execution of the EU Chemicals strategy.

· 
Be directly responsible for executing the strategies at BU levels in co-ordination with the Procurement Operations Teams and with the potential traders.

· 
Supplier Relationship Management focused on service, quality, logistics and delivery for all chemicals OTIF

· 
Responsible for sourcing alternate suppliers and materials to ensure robust resilience in the supply base

· 
Delivery of innovation projects OTIF in a cost competitive manner

· 
Developing strong and effective internal interfaces aligned with company needs

· 
Continuously explore and analyze saving opportunities to generate sustainable savings

· 
Savings: smart buying, product logic, cash, e-tender, volume rebate, 5s workshop, optimization projects

· 
Partner with suppliers on Unilever’s sustainability agenda

· 
Account management: onboarding, RSP, USQS compliance, contract management (creation, update, signatures, systems administration), service level maintenance/improvement, Other operations: e.g. incident management, product specification confirmation

· 
Verifying supplier compliance, audits required date, as integral part of negotiation

· 
Developing cost models with suppliers to enable cover transparency

· 
Closely following up market movements to capture advantages on market with changed cover periods.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

· 
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required

· 
Minimum 3 years of experience required in Procurement

Skills

· 
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization with good presentation skills: ability to present key findings in a crisp way and get people onboard

· 
Fluency in English

· 
Analytical thinking and proven ability to solve problems and sustain results through a data driven process

· 
Comfortable in fast paced, fast changing, complex and ambiguous environment

· 
Good negotiation & commercial skills

· 
Good understanding of business economics

· 
Managing complexity of materials

· 
Efficient Time management

· 
Able to work with a variety of IT systems and have a strong knowledge of MS Office: advanced Excel, PowerBI, SAP, iCAT, Aravo, DCIW, SRS, PLM knowledge essential

· 
Must be able to work independently and virtually

Strong project management and organization skills: strong at execution and proactively finding solutions and improvements
