JOB TITLE: Assistant Finance Manager, Supply Chain (Performance Management)

BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Driving cost efficiency and operational leverage is critical part of Unilever's business strategy. This allows Unilever to invest more in innovation and marketing, hence driving the virtuous cycle of growth.

This role is responsible for tracking performance of Non-Material Supply Chain Costs (NMSCC) for the Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA) cluster and driving action through the cluster Supply Chain Finance teams to achieve in year NMSCC and savings targets. The role also supports the Supply Chain Finance Manager in planning and analysis of information for target setting.


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performance Management and Reporting for SEAA
· Coordination of monthly reporting of Supply chain actuals & P&L through supporting forecast guidance / instruction / template creation / collection and summary at cluster level;
· Coordination of Actual vs. forecast results and Forecast vs Forecast with explanations to senior Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT);
· Main contact point of Enterprise and Technology Solutions (ETS) for reporting and maintaining all reports;
· Maintain performance tracking of several performance KPIs such as: P&L, Savings, Production CPT, Distribution CPT, CAPEX, RDI, Ending stock (glide path), DOH;
· Support Logistics central team in performance reporting & explanation and point of contact to Global Logistics Finance Business Partner (FBP):
· Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation of CAPEX/RDI/Savings reported in various platforms;
· Support reporting and analysis for Global Supply Chain Leadership Team (GSCLT), SEAA Supply Chain Finance Leadership Team (SCFLT) and other ad-hoc requests inclusive of creating decks (waterfall charts) explaining Gross Margin Variance Analysis (GMVA) movement.

SEAA Central Team Cost Governance

· Manage total impact of central cost to Supply Chain (SC) overheads / Production cost of countries and ensure total budgets are respected;
· Budget, track, and report cost of SEAA SC Cluster teams, Cluster Engineering and Procurement Market across SEAA countries;
· Engage with HR and other teams on changes in costs during the year and related cost center management
· Budget management by working with budget holders to flag overspend and control Time & Expense (T&E) and 3P spending
· Help in providing input to Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) Unilever Asia Pte Ltd (UAPL) teams for budget and tracking purpose;
· Support SEAA central teams in ad-hoc cross charging;
· Lead SEAA SC Cluster mechanism charging from UAPL to countries by providing guidance, initiate country invoicing from and to UAPL and provide instructed numbers to UAPL Record-to-Report (R2R) team;
· Work with legal/tax teams of countries in order to set up contracts to enable cross charging (limited scope countries).

SEAA Restructuring/CAPEX system lead

· Has system lead role for RDI/CAPEX meaning first point of contact for SEAA Clusters for global CAPEX/Restructuring, Marlin team, and system users in country;
· Coordinate forecast cycle sign-off for both CAPEX and RDI;
· First point of contact for SOA questions or modifications for SEAA, approves system access requests and project date extensions;
· Push countries to ensure projects are up-to-date, and make central contingency if required;

Capabilities Development
· Business Decision Support & Performance Management (bps language/GMVA) through on the job training;
Develop communication skills through exposure to SEAA SCLT in results / SEAA SC central teams management;
Better understanding of UAPL model (full scope / limited scope);
· Enhancement in knowledge of various business platforms;
· Adapt to a highly dynamic, senior, and fast-paced working environment driving an ad-hoc nature to the role.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Experience in cluster or country role, preferably with performance management experience, managing virtual teams.
