JOB TITLE: Assistant Finance Manager, Home and Personal Care
JOB LOCATION: Singapore

MAIN JOB SUMMARY:

1. Manage forecast and help navigate the business through the forecasting process
· Manage and deliver the monthly rolling forecast process for the division.
· Strengthen key interfaces with CD Finance, SC Finance, CMM and PMT to ensure robustness and transparency of forecast drivers and assumptions.
· Provide forecast commentary, performance variance, highlighting issues and using the insights to influence course corrections.
· Assist line manager in preparing Long Term Plan for the division. 2. Analyze Monthly, quarterly, yearly business performance

· Provide relevant, timely and accurate information and review on business performance, both monthly result and ad-hoc reports, to internal and regional customers.
· Provide financial support in the deployment of strategy, such as pricing competitiveness strategy, price and margin exercise, brand investments, deployment margin from innovation, etc.
· Understand market shares movement and trends, provide analysis on the categories' position relative to key competitors. 3. Manage Brand Investment

· Manage and review deployment of advertising & promotional budget including forecasting for monthly rolling forecast/long term plan purposes.
· Utilize available tools, such as SOV-SOM, AIM, MAC for understanding the brand investment and setting up flexible budget.
· Provides advice and constructive feedbacks to marketing team regarding the A&P spends to ensure optimum return on investments. 4. Business partner to BB Marketing

· Be actively involved in any acquisition and or disposal plans by providing financial information and analysis of each alternative.
· Understand the Marketing Mix Model (MMM) study to pursue a better decision making process, understand the learning and drive the implementation based on the findings.
· Provide unbiased finance support for HPC business cases and promos. 5. Drive performance management through Financial growth model

· Co Pilot the creation and updation of Financial Growth Model (UFGM) to bring to life the strategic role of division into a sustainable financial plan. Ensure the growth model is informed by key macro and micro assumptions (market growth, share trends, innovation pipeline) and strategy framework.
· Using the drivers and priorities agreed in the UFGM, help highlight choice to be made to align with the financial framework/target.
· Define the ‘bigger picture' on performance trends as reflected in the financial forecast and help reference it to the UFGM to help highlight DRA needs/opportunities. 6. Drive process excellence, information management and simplification

· Lead the Simplification agenda for finance in the division – look for opportunities to drive process excellence.
· Deliver outstanding analytics/analysis of business performance to help the business take right decisions whilst standardizing performance management decks and minimizing adhoc reporting/analysis. Leverage BIT whilst owing the numbers.
· Constantly evaluate and drive continuous improvement and simplification in business/financial processes – improving forecasting ROI (including balance between top down/bottom up forecast), A&P budget management, information management. 7. Champion and be the change agent for any new information system and process in the division

· Understand the benefit or impact of any system and process change.
· Analyze the risk and implication to other related process.
· Drive and supervise implementation within the agreed timeline. 8. Guard financial controls

· Ensure sound financial controls are embedded as far as possible as preventive controls.
· Ensure all provisions are backed by appropriate documentation and in line with accounting rules
· Review open OPSOs regularly and close when not utilised 9. Protect information security to promote information safety

· Regularly monitor and update access list users to the shared folders.
· Review distribution of information and SOA regularly. 10. Pilot and Drive ROMI agenda

· Work closely with local media, marketing and regional finance teams to drive ROMI agenda in country.
· Own and drive opportunities to drive efficiencies in NPM, e.g. production costs, agency fees and channel fees.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Degree in Accounting or Finance
· 3 - 5 years experience in FA roles (FP&A, Business Partnering)
· Experience in business partnering is an advantage
· Experienced in financial planning and analysis
· Exposure to supply chain management is an advantage
· Good interpersonal skills & effective communication skills
· Strong Analytical skills
