Job Title: Assistant CMI Manager
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE


We are currently recruiting an Assistant CMI Manager within our Household Care Category.

This role is a step on a journey to understanding how the business works and developing business acumen. You will actively use the knowledge you gain to provide added value insights to the business. This is a global role and offers a unique opportunity work in a team that is creating products that will deliver the vision of the brand to the market place.

The CMI function's mission is to show the business how and where to win. In this role you will contribute to delivering our mission by supporting a CMI manager in business partnering a marketing team. You will be expected to run all or part of some projects on your own after 6 months in the job.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assistant CMI Manager you will be responsible to;

· Distil information from primary and secondary research (e.g. market information, ad hoc research) and provide insights and recommendations to the business.
· Build understanding of categories, brands and consumers
· Support a CMI Manager in the design and delivery of market research projects:
Determine optimal research plan and method
Conduct and co-ordinate the project with the research supplier
Manage project within agreed budgets
Interpret and communicate key findings and recommendations
· Develop research skills, making full use of the CMI academy and community
· Build understanding of key business processes, which in this role relate mostly to mix and innovation development
· Manage and utilize relevant IT tools as required


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· University Degree or equivalent
· Experience managing qualitative and quantitative research
· Demonstrable experience of market research on either client or agency side
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
· Ability to apply consumer and market understanding to business issues.
· Experience of analysing and synthesising data from different sources
· Experience of cross functional team-working
· Strong team player
· Good presentation skills
· Self starter
