MAIN JOB PURPOSE
We are currently recruiting for the Vaseline Assistant Brand Manager role within the UKI Skin Care team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to build a marketing career in Personal Care and establish experience working on a globally renowned brand with deep heritage. Vaseline plays a lead role in the Hand, Body & Lip markets & has a proposition routed in purpose with The Vaseline Healing Project.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Brand Manager who will work with an entrepreneurial spirit to own and manage the Vaseline brand portfolio effectively. This role is perfect for someone who is independent, pro-active and loves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment leading a multi-functional team. You will have the opportunity to develop brand building skills across all of the 6Ps and take the initiative by embracing fast-track, digital-first ways of working.
A number of projects will be locally led (e.g. Vaseline Lip Tin Limited Editions) so experience within brand development and new product development is key - and strong project management skills are vital.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for Brand P&L
· Manage the portfolio P&L, understand drivers and identify issues, challenges and opportunities to deliver sustainable growth
· Represent Vaseline Skin Care in key business meetings throughout the monthly business sales & ops cycle.
Development of Integrated Brand Planning
· Uncover root issues and opportunities across the 6Ps via leading brand and category audits
· Manage promotional strategy in line with and across the brand, category or portfolio
· Develop a collaborative & productive relationship with the global brand teams
· Integrate relevant Global Brand Vision Plans (BVP)
· Develop and gain agreement to annual targets
· Develop key Jobs To Be Done and activity schedules
Development and excellent execution of Activity Plans, on time, in full
· Develop cost effective annual activity plans to execute the strategies and targets agreed
· Execution of digital marketing plan. Work with internal and external agencies across all relevant media
· Lead local projects & execute roll outs of relevant global innovation projects
· Lead cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of launch plans and post-launch evaluation
· Manage the brand budget to ensure spend is in line with agreements
Provide input into Shopper Marketing for brand
· Work with the shopper marketing team to develop customer-specific strategies that align with and amplify national marketing plans
Constantly review brand and initiative performance for ongoing improvement
· Continuously understand ongoing business performance using key diagnostics of share and growth trends, key initiatives, competitive activity and return on marketing investment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Classic brand management experience in a leading FMCG environment
· Qualified to degree level or equivalent
· Project management across multiple projects
· Digital marketing expertise across media, search, etc is essential
· P&L Ownership and Management
· Holding self and others accountable
· Consumer and market understanding
· Proactive & able to deliver in a busy environment
