Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager – Out of Home Ice Cream

Salary: Up to £38,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a really exciting time to join our Wall's Out of Home family and a rare opportunity to work across our entire portfolio of widely recognised and loved brands. We have a very strong Impulse brand portfolio with 72% market share, including Magnum, Cornetto, Solero, Calippo, Twister and Feast. In addition we also have many family favourites within our Take Home portfolio including Ben & Jerry's, Carte D'Or and Viennetta.

We have a huge growth ambition for the Out of Home channel. We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help bring back the magic to ice cream by launching new and exciting innovations, leading an iconic Out of Home Marketing campaign and strengthening relationships with the cross functional and agency teams.

This role will enable you to strengthen your brand manager skills by having sole brand manager responsibility for the Solero and Mr Whippy brands. This includes P&L ownership, innovation launches and the development of long term brand strategies.

You will also play a key supporting role in the Ice Cream ‘Out of Home' team. Any prior experience of the ‘Out of Home' channel, Marketing, Sales or Category will be of advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and grow Unilever's presence in the ‘Out of Home' channel through brand-driven activation, renovation of current core portfolio, brilliant implementation of innovation platforms and working closely in a cross functional Out of Home Ice Cream team.

·  Management of the Wall's OOH Marketing Campaign. Lead the campaign strategy, media plans and creative execution as well as looking for ways to step change the campaign and make Wall's famous.
·  Own the relationship with the All Agency team across the media, social and creative agencies.
·  Management of Marketing budgets within agreed targets.
·  Develop strong relationships with the Global and European Marketing teams as well as the local cross-functional Out of Home team and wider UK Ice Cream brand team.
·  Brand management of the Solero and Mr Whippy brand including responsibility for innovation launches and ownership of brand P&Ls.
·  Champion the importance of our Take Home portfolio (including Magnum, Ben & Jerry's and Carte D'Or) within the Out of Home channel.
·  Bring local consumer and channel insight to everything we do.
