SALARY: Up to £39,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including bonus, 25 days holidays, pension scheme, Bupa healthcare, discounted products, on-site gym, etc.
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

There is now an exciting opportunity to join the global Dove Deodorants marketing team and be part of crafting an exciting 2019 innovation and defining the roadmap of future platforms for the brand.
As a Global Assistant Brand Manager on Dove Deodorants, you would be key support for the Brand Manager to launch the 2019 Dove Deos innovation and define the roadmap of future platforms for the brand.
This role will give you a real opportunity to build and strengthen your marketing skills, working in one of the most iconic of the Unilever brands, within a true multi-national work environment.
In your role, you will also be a champion for the brand, knowing the brand inside out and being able to advise markets and other supporting functions on what is and isn't Dove Deos.
It will be important to build strong working relationships with regional teams and with top local markets to ensure local insights and nuances are considered in global developments, as well as to have local support along the way.
Stakeholder management will also be key, being able to plan in advance for key sign off from stakeholders on project milestones and ensuring alignment is happening up the chain and across the functions including Market research, R&D and Supply chain.
JOB SUMMARY
· You will be supporting the brand manager in delivering the launch of the 2019 Dove Deodorants innovation, as well as crafting the roadmap of future Dove Deos platforms;
· You will be leading some specific work streams for the 2019 innovation, such as pack design development, artwork, and digital plan & assets delivery. Along the way, you will also be leading strategic projects/task forces for the brand;
· You will need to be a strong communicator and able to work closely with different functions (Market Research, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance) to build strong project teams motivated to deliver, and a desire to further develop your skills in managing projects and communication development.
· You will be able to develop an in-depth understanding for the brand in key regions and markets and the business environment in which it competes and apply that knowledge to strengthening the innovation mixes in development.
· The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership, with clearly ownable deliverables within each project you will be working on.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Masters degree or equivalent
· Previous experience in marketing
· Proven record in Project Management and P&L
· Business acumen
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to work independently
· Real accountability
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Interest in or knowledge in beauty and personal care
· Creative flair
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
