Responsibilities

The Opportunity

 

As GBS Carrier Management Track and Trace – Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc.(PLCI), The purpose of this role is to provide tactical operations support involving order entry, issue resolution, and track and trace support. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders on potential service gaps. This role is our frontline response unit in reporting shipment delays to honor our stringent customer demands.
Scope: Effectively prioritize and track 75+ shipments per day in a manner that meets on time pick up, delivery, maintain hours of service requirements, and accountable to key brokerage SOPS. Participate and support with track and trace for customers as required.  This role will report to the MBS Carrier Management TnT Supervisor(L8). TMS System knowledge and understanding of transportation is expected along with strong ability to set day-day priorities for service leaders. Strong coordination and communication with BU partners to insure delivery of optimization and efficiency gains is expected.  Exceptional time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for this role. This role will additionally require building critical relationships with key team members both internally within the hub and across, inside the function and and across Business Units.

 

Your Impact

 

As LD&T Assoc Analyst your functions would consist of:

 

This Track and Trace role will be responsible for making  125+ phone calls daily to obtain freight tracking updates.  The TnT role will be responsible for making 75+ status updates daily.   The primary focus will be the prioritization of critical shipments and ensuring accurate updates for both the carrier and account management teams.  The team will be responsible for providing best in class load tracking visibility and proactive issue resolution for the PLCI customer base. This role will support the delivery of revenue and NOPBT goals by ensuring the execution of the day to day track and trace function.

·  Timely order entry and a sense of urgency regarding issue resolution
·  Carrier compliance to track & trace check calls
·  Carrier compliance to defined EDI processes
·  Proactive shipment tracking and customer alerts for known anticipated service gaps
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or applicable degree required
·  0-2 years Operations, transportation experience preferred
·  English Fluency both written and verbal required
·  Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
·  Capable of working in a remote work group and being managed by a remote manager
·  Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems
·  Proficiency using PC-based applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and alternate meeting technology
·  Ability to identify business issues and escalate in a timely fashion
·  Self-starter with attention to detail
·  Solid verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
