Category Management Specialist

Overview

A Category Management Specialist deliver visually appealing versioned planograms based on store clustering, space definitions and defined flow. Work closely with Category Management and Key Account Managers (KAM) teams to ensure planograms meet approved parameters.  Conduct planogram quality control ensuring all planograms meet assortment requirements, visual appeal, innovation opportunities and shelving metrics.  Continuously identify opportunities and implement processes to improve quality and timeliness of output. 

Responsibilities

·  Work closely with Category Management teams to ensure planogram meet approved parameters  
·  Conduct planogram quality control ensuring all planograms meet assortment requirements, visual appeal, innovation opportunities and shelving metrics
·  Electronically deliver planograms to internal teams 
·  Manage multiple project timelines simultaneously, ensure timelines are met by tracking project process, coordinating activities and resolving issues  
·  Ensure delivery of accurate and timely planograms in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA) 
·  Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work
·  Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes and optimal use of technology
Qualifications

·  +3 years of experience in Sales/Sales Management   
·  Language skills – English and German fluent  
·  Bachelor’s in commerce/business administration/marketing, Master’s degree is a plus 
·  Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated intermediate-advanced Excel skills necessary 
·  Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions, strong at data analysis with strong attention to detail  
·  Advanced knowledge and experience of space management technology platform JDA  
·  Good knowledge of product merchandising or shelf management  
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner
