We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our ANZ Field Sales Team as a Territory Manager for Indies and P&C The key to success in this role is to deliver category growth in all customers through pre-selling promotional, seasonal, and event-based activity to ensure stock availability. To have the ability to Leverage category insight to drive excellent execution in-store, including improvement of Gondola Ends and other off locations. As well as Liaise with 3 rd party broker resource to ensure execution of all sales activity.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

·  Manage their territory of Independent and Petrol & Convenience to deliver mutual growth via flawless execution of all customer plans and deliver call compliance to journey plan
·  Build and leverage strong relationships with store managers to influence inventory (minimum product quantities and allocations) and display (compliance to paid for display and sell using insights to gain incremental displays)
·  Inform customer of all NPD, ensuring compliance to in-store standards such as planogram, and all staff are aware and knowledgeable
·  Delivery of all commercial calendar and business initiatives – bringing to life the sales strategy and channel blueprint in each customer. Delivery of short and long term objectives as set and measured by Newspage.
·  Leverage store scan data and business reviews drive sales opportunities and commercialise the business objectives. Inform all stake holders of results using data to analysis effectiveness of activity.
·  Appropriate use and maintenance of all tools of trade such as vehicle, phone, iPad and POS
·  Build relationships with key stakeholders including Schweppes territory contact, customer area contacts and 3 rd party broker resource. Demonstrating excellent execution of all Power of One opportunities and engagement of appropriate area and trading contacts to gain commitment in multiple sites. Across both supermarkets and licensed/convenience.
Qualifications

About you:

·  Understand all elements of the customer supply chain to be able to influence On Shelf Availability
·  Identify in-store sales growth opportunities against key Blueprint objectives and put a plan in place to improve in-store execution
·  Understand, interpret and use category facts in all aspects of customer interaction.
·  Have a natural selling conversation with the customer that results in them taking action.
·  Plan for and anticipate customer objections and resolve using negotiation techniques in the sales presentation.
·  Use retail maths within a selling situation or conversation with retailer
·  Effectively prioritise workload and manage one’s time to meet business expectations and deadlines.
·  Work as part of a team to achieve individual and team goals while sharing ideas and best practice with team
